Shopping App Associate Part Time Role Description
Findlay Market is Ohio’s longest-running public market and a historic landmark. The Findlay Market Shopping App program provides an innovative way for Findlay Market shoppers to get the foods they need and want. The Shopping App Associate will be integral in the fulfillment, aggregation, and delivery of shopping app orders. Merchant relations and customer service will be vital in this role.
The Findlay Market Shopping App Associate’s success will be measured in part by the following goal:

Retain existing and attract a new shopper base through outstanding customer service and efficient operational excellence
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Order Aggregation

Serve as the liaison between Findlay Market Merchants and customers

Manage the aggregation and preparation of orders for pickup and delivery
Merchant Relations
-
Assist with inventory updates and communication between Merchants and shoppers
Customer Service
-
Provide friendly service when interacting with internal or external customers
Delivery Driving
-
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
-
Ability to drive for extended periods of time
-
Sound navigational skills
-
Strong commitment to safety on the road
Upholding Safety Standards
-
Follow all safety requirements, regular hand washing, wearing closed-toe and skid-resistance shoes
Working Requirements
-
Wear closed-toe, skid-resistant shoes. Keep in mind, when not driving, you will be on your feet the majority of your shift

Bring a layering sweatshirt and/or coat for walk-in cooler work. One will be provided to you in your uniform kit

Work in different temperature-based environments throughout a shift – market house, storefronts, outside, walk in coolers

Frequently moves boxes and bags weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs

Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
