- Provide a safe physical, emotional, and spiritual environment.

- Decorate the rooms with encouraging, healthy, and challenging items.
- Perform cleaning tasks to ensure clean spaces inside and outside.
- Engage students through lessons and activities while incorporating the 40 Developmental Assets.
- Consider learning styles and capabilities when planning and teaching.
- Stimulate spiritual, emotional, intellectual and social growth of children.
- Provide or oversee a daily enrichment session.
- Have materials for Bible study and Christian growth available.
- Equip students with academic and life skills.
- Provide study space and homework help.
- Have necessary school supplies on hand and ready for use.
- Teach study and organizational skills.
- Teach life skills.
- Encourage students through positive classroom management.
- Nurture students by witnessing to Christ’s constant healing presence.
- Consistently apply our Smart Classroom Management plan.
