We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about mentoring others, optimizing tax strategies, and driving results.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage complex tax engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Supervise, mentor, and train staff and senior accountants
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
- Stay current on tax law changes and communicate implications to clients and team
- Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and strategic initiatives
- CPA license required
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
