In addition to being a great place to shop and eat, Main Street OTR has a long and interesting history starting with its intersection of the Miami & Erie Canal, a mid-nineteenth-century German population boom, and its transformation into an elegant Italianate commercial corridor. Today, Main Street OTR features indie shops, galleries, cafes, bars, yoga studios, and businesses housed in beautiful historic buildings. Main Street OTR walking tour welcomes first time visitors, frequent customers, and residents to learn a little more about the history and architecture of this dynamic neighborhood. Julie Carpenter developed the tours for merchants on Main Street in conjunction with their annual Stroll and Shop and Locals Night events.

Admission is $10. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended as tours are limited to 25 participants.

The 60 minute tour departs from Park + Vine, 1202 Main Street and takes place rain, snow, or shine.
