Lamb Jam Cincinnati is a Celebration of American Lamb, as well as a showcase of some of Cincinnati’s best chefs. If you are a lover of American Lamb, or even if you have never tried it, this is an event you should check out!
Chopped Competition
Ten teams consisting of a local chef, celebrity chef and a culinary student will battle it out! Each Team will recieve 10lbs of Ground Lamb, as well as a Boneless Leg of Lamb. Each team will also be given a mystry basket of ingredients that they must use in their dish along with $50 to shop FIndlay Market for any other ingredients they could want. Each team will have 30 minuets to shop and 1 hour to prepare 100 portions.
Help Pick the winning team! Tasting Tickets will be available for a $1 donation for each taste! Look for Lamb Jam Volunteers who will be selling these tickets. You can also purchase your Split the Pot Tickets from these Volunteers (Benefitting the ACFGC Uniform Fund)
4:30pm – Chef Teams shop Findlay Market
5:00pm – Cooking Beginning
6:00pm – Samples are available for $1 donation
6:30pm – Winners are announced
Farm to Table Dinner
Les Chefs de Cuisine along with Vertigo Catering will prepare a five (5) course menu featuring American Lamb starting at 6:45pm. The spotlight of the meal will be a whole Roasted Lamb. Wine and beer will be paired with each course by Hanover Winery, Valley Vineyards and Rhinegeist Brewery. All food items have been sourced from Findlay Market.
