OTR 5k Run and Summer Celebration, 10th Annual
We are turning 10 this year! What started out as a handful of dedicated OTR fans running a 5k through the neighborhood has grown into an annual event with now more than 1,200 runners and walkers!
The OTR 5K starts and ends at Washington Park with a big day-long after party with live music (music lineup here), City Flea, Art on Vine and more. Be a part of the excitement and momentum in OTR, and in the process support the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce and the local businesses it serves.
Online registration closes May 18, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
Online registration guarantees your t-shirt and size, and new this year, a text message after the race with your preliminary finish time.
Registration will be available in person during packet pick up hours on the front porch of Music Hall (Thursday, May 19, 4-6:30pm; Friday, May 20, 11-5pm); and day of (May 21) beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., just before the race start at 10:00 a.m. at the Registration tents in Washington Park. Registration tents will be located next to the Main Stage (closest to Fourteenth Street). CASH ONLY FOR IN PERSON REGISTRATION. Sorry, no refunds; no transferring of registrations.
During these times you will be able to get your t-shirt, race bib with timing chip, and any additional information.

Packet Pick Up
In order to facilitate an easy completion of registration, there are 2 days of packet pick up before the race. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of them!

- Thursday, May 19th 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. @ front porch of Music Hall, 1241 Elm
- Friday, May 20th 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. @ front porch of Music Hall, 1241 Elm
- Pick up your shirt & your bib with timing chip
- You may pick up on race day morning starting at 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. if you like, but we encourage you to pick up in advance. Registration tent on race morning will be next to the Main Stage on the event Lawn in Washington Park (closest to Fourteenth Street)
- You may pick up your friends/family items as needed. (You are such a great friend!)
Parking
Arrive early and give yourself a relaxing start to the morning!WASHINGTON PARK GARAGE is ideal! It's a 450‐space, two‐level, state‐of‐the‐art, underground parking garage in the heart of Over‐the‐Rhine, and just a short walk over to the starting point of the OTR 5K and Summer Celebration.
TWO ENTRANCES TO WASHINGTON PARK GARAGE:
(1) Northbound: Elm Street at Music Hall
(2) Southbound: Race Street at 13th Street
MERCER COMMONS GARAGE is a 340-space, state-of-the-art garage. Entrance is located between 13th and 14th on Vine Street.
TOWNE CENTER GARAGE is a 617-space garage located at 1251 Central Parkway. Enter off Central Pkwy or Central Ave. Cash only.
In 2015,
- We grew to 1,200 registrants
- More than 5,000 attended the OTR 5k and Summer Celebration
- 31 people registered with dogs (woof!), and 42 registered with strollers. This fits our mission to make the event accessible for all.
- City Flea set records with over 100 vendors
- 40 Art on Vine vendors displayed around the bandstand
- 9 live music acts performed on two stages
- 1,200 waters and 900+ bananas were handed out at the finish line
- 50+ volunteers made the day possible
