2014 OTR 5k Run and Summer Celebration
The 8th Annual Over-the-Rhine 5K Run/Walk and Summer Celebration is one of the biggest events of the year in Over-the-Rhine, and the annual kick off to the summer in OTR. This year, the 5K will start and end at Washington Park. Be a part of the excitement and momentum in OTR, and in the process support the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce and the local businesses it serves.

In 2013,

We grew from 835 registrants to 1,136
Nearly 5,000 attended the OTR 5k and Summer Celebration
24 people registered with dogs (woof!), and 25 registered with strollers. This fits our mission to make the event accessible for all.
City Flea set records with nearly 100 vendors, up from 70
16 fine art vendors displayed around the bandstand
9 live music acts performed on two stages
1,200 waters and 900+ bananas were handed out at the finish line
80% of people discarded their mid-race water cups in designated trash cans, not on the ground ? thank you!
50+ volunteers made the day possible

Online registration closes May 14, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

Registration will be available in person during packet pick up hours (Thursday, May 15 4-7pm; Friday, May 16 11-6pm); and day of beginning at 8:30 a.m. until the race start at 10:00 a.m. at the Registration tents in Washington Park, which will be located next to the Main Stage (closest to Fourteenth Street). CASH ONLY FOR IN PERSON REGISTRATION.

During these times you will be able to get your t-shirt, race bib with timing chip, and any additional information.

Packet Pick Up

In order to facilitate an easy completion of registration, there are 2 days of packet pick up before the race. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of them!

Pick up your shirt designed by We have Become Vikings & your bib with timing chip
You may pick up on race day morning starting at 8:30 a.m. if you like, but we encourage you to pick up in advance. Registration tent on race morning will be next to the Main Stage on the event Lawn in Washington Park (closest to Fourteenth Street)
You may pick up your friends/family items as needed. (You are such a great friend!)

Parking

WASHINGTON PARK GARAGE is ideal! It's a 450‐space, two‐level, state‐of‐the‐art, underground parking garage in the heart of Over‐the‐Rhine, and just a short walk over to the starting point of the OTR 5K and Summer Celebration. Be in the garage by 9:45 a.m. before Race Street closes; Elm St. closes at 9:00 a.m.!
TWO ENTRANCES TO WASHINGTON PARK GARAGE:
(1) Northbound: Elm Street at Music Hall (Elm Street closes at 9 a.m.)
(2) Southbound: Race Street at 13th Street (Race Street closes at 9:40 a.m.)

MERCER COMMONS GARAGE is a 340-space, state-of-the-art garage. Entrance is located between 13th and 14th on Vine Street.
