Event Description:
Every month, artists and art galleries in the historic Over-the-Rhine district of Cincinnati open their doors for a special showing on the last Friday, known to most simply as "Final Friday." The festivities take place in galleries, studios and businesses throughout the Over-the-Rhine and Pendleton neighborhoods.

In addition, studios of the Pendleton Art Center are open to the public, giving guests the opportunity to view creative art space, as well as purchase one-of-a-kind artwork directly from artists. Specific times may vary in individual businesses.

Here's a taste of what's planned for January 31: 
  • Hutch Baby: 1209 Vine Street
    • Live DJ, Up to 60% off sale (on selective brands), Raffles, Popcorn and Cotton Candy Machine
    • 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
  • Paper Wings: 1207  Vine St
    • Gallery Opening Reception for "The Architect's Tour;" photographs by Ben Jacks. Wine and refreshments will be on hand.
    • 6:00 - 8:00 pm
  • The Rhined: 1737 Elm Street
    • Ceramics & Charcuterie: Each month, we'll be celebrating the amazing ceramic artists of Cincinnati w/ our series ""Ceramics & Charcuterie"" by featuring their handmade plates and platters and offering them as a package with our cheese boards. Enjoy in the shop during Final Friday festivities or pick up some wine, have a couple friends over, and enjoy good company, good cheese, and good wine AND have piece of art that you can use for all of your future cheese needs. Very limited--reserve soon! 
    • January's (and the first) featured artist is Amanda Hollinger of Joyful Dirt Creations; Wine & Cheese w/ Lyric Morris-Latchaw

    • Dance along to cool New Orleans jazz with the Hot Magnolias!

  • Felsenhaus: 242 West McMicken Avenue
    • We'll be launching our podcast/video studio and will be recording our premiere episode prior to the event. Come meet our creative community, enjoy some snacks and beverages and see our unique spaces and amenities such as photo and video studios, common lounge, full kitchen and more. Tasty craft beer by Off Track Brewing and more.

  • Brick Pop Up Shops: 1327 Vine Street
    • Multiple artists playing music, drinks, light bites.

  • Pistil Vintage: 1212 Main Street
    • As a way to give back to the community we are hosting our first Art Show featuring homeless artists in the OTR area. Featured local artist is Ron English. The proceeds from this show will go directly to the Artists. We will also be doing raffles & giveaways etc.

  • Continuum: 1407 Vine Street
    • Hosting Four Eyes Ceramics and Sidney Cherie Studio, who are bringing new, limited v-day pieces.

  • ​Pendleton Arts Center: 1310 Pendleton Street
    • Studio walks are the Final Friday of each month from 6 pm to 10 pm. Studios of the Pendleton Art Center are open to the public, giving guests the opportunity to view creative art space, as well as purchase one-of-a-kind artwork directly from artists. It offers the public a chance to meet artists, view and purchase their artwork, attend lectures, live demonstrations and FREE interactive classes.

  • Art Academy of Cincinnati: 1212 Jackson Street 
    • The Art Academy of Cincinnati is proud to present the AAC Faculty Exhibition 2020, a group show featuring artworks by 25 faculty members. At a 151-year-old institution that is proud to continue pushing the envelope of creativity, AAC faculty display an ongoing love for experimentation in a wide variety of media—from sculpture and painting to site-specific installation and beyond. 
    • Artists include: Mark Albain, Jimmy Baker, David Michael Beck, Keith Benjamin, Ann Burrell, David Butler, Benjamin Cook, Matt Coors, Claire Darley, Matthew Dayler, Jase Flannery, Gary Gaffney, Linnea Gartin, Matt Hart, Ian Hersko , Lukas Kalinoski, Stephen Kenny, Kim Krause, Rebecca Steele, David Steinbrunner, Kate Tepe, Mark Thomas, Steve Weinstein, Loraine Wible, Lindsey Whittle, and Paige Williams.
